Product detailed description
The city of Le Havre has the second largest port in France. Besides its size, Le Havre also has a very interesting name. The name was taken from Dutch and means nothing other than Harbor. However, the French prefer their language and today they call the city Le Port (which again means Harbor).
The overall game plan of the city of Le Havre is simple. A player's turn consists of two parts: first, you replenish supplies on resource fields and then you take one action. Available actions include, for example, taking all resources of the same type from one field or using the ability of a building already constructed. Through buildings, a player can refine or transform goods, sell goods, or build ships or buildings. They are not just an investment, but can actually generate income, as using another player's buildings incurs a fee. Ships, on the other hand, mainly serve to acquire food for your workers. Each round consists of seven player actions and ends with a harvest phase, in which players acquire agricultural products and need to feed their workers. After a certain number of rounds (depending on the number of players and game mode), each player can take one final action before the end of the game. Buildings and ships have a financial value that is added to the players' wealth. In the end, the player with the most money wins.
