Star Trek: Ascendancy is an epic board game set in the famous Star Trek sci-fi series. Your mission is to control one of the great civilizations of the Galaxy. You will go into space to spread the influence and glory of your civilization. 

In the base game we find three races: humans (Federation), Klingons and Romulans. Each race has specific characteristics and technologies. The differences between the races are reflected in their different play styles. 

The Federation mainly explores space and has, for example, moral principles that do not allow them to forcibly occupy alien planets. The Klingons, on the other hand, have a warrior code that prevents them from running away from combat and allows them to earn bonuses in battles. Romulans are cunning explorers who can fight dirty.

Throughout the game you control starships, build interstellar travel, and bring other systems under your influence. With over 200 plastic miniatures and 30 Star Trek star systems, the game puts the fate of the galaxy in your hands.
