S Tour de France Board Game opens up a unique opportunity for you to experience one of the most watched global sporting events of the year firsthand. Choose your team and lead them to victory. You will need not only luck, but above all the best strategy. Taste all the beauties and pitfalls of cycling on flat roads, in the mountains, and in descents. Learn how to battle the wind, how to attack opponents in the most brutal climbs, how to ride in a peloton. Learn to protect the leader, stay at the front, earn points in sprints, collaborate with opponents, cut off competitors, take risks. Think through every move and strategize. The app included in the game will calculate real times and complete results for you.
The base edition of the game includes four game boards representing four stages of this year's 109th edition of Le Tour. Each year, additional game boards will be available for sale according to the routes of the new edition. The game boards feature a unique hexagonal shape that allows figures to move in multiple directions, based on dice rolls of different attributes (abilities). The journey to the yellow jersey definitely depends not only on luck, but also on a well-chosen strategy. In the battle for victory, every move must be carefully considered, strategized for the team's benefit, and its leader. The game realistically simulates a cycling race and faithfully reflects the dynamics of the peloton. Players will learn how cyclists battle the wind, attack opponents in the toughest climbs, and experience the magic of riding "in the slipstream."
The rules are adapted to provide the most enjoyable experience for all age groups. It is designed for 2 - 6 players, who can choose how to assemble their team, whether to ride a single stage or the entire Tour. It is also unique in combining a classic board game with its own mobile application, which calculates ongoing and final results for players, simplifying and speeding up the game. However, those who do not wish to use it do not have to.
