In the game Tindaya, you will become the chief of one of the Imazighen tribes inhabiting the Canary Islands in the 15th century. You will share knowledge and resources with others, build your tribe, discover new inventions, and face disasters sent by the gods Acoran and Moneiba. Unfortunately, you will also have to deal with the invasion of the conquistadors.
The all-powerful duo of gods can be merciful if they receive their sacrifices. However, their demands may lead to human sacrifices. If you do not fulfill the wishes of these gods, their wrath will manifest in the form of volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and tsunamis so devastating that they threaten the destruction of the entire archipelago.
Another test of your survival will be the invasion of the conquistadors, who want to turn the islands into the last stop before heading to even more distant lands. These ruthless and heavily armed foreigners do not hesitate to lay down their lives in the battle for dominance over the islands and their riches.
Fortunately, you have two powerful witches on your side, who will reveal upcoming events to you at the top of Mount Tindaya. Only then can you prepare for the disasters that you cannot avoid.
Will the Imazighen tribes survive, or will their story come to an end, along with the end of the island paradise?
Tindaya is played in 3 ages and each age has 3 phases:
1. Strategic Phase
The seer predicts the future disasters and their locations. The gods reveal their demands for sacrifices. Players must evaluate the possible impacts of the upcoming disasters, set priorities, and divide tasks for the upcoming age, otherwise their tribes have no chance of survival.
2. Action Phase
Players take turns performing individual or double actions until everyone has completed their turn. They have the following actions available: Discover invent / Utilize settlement / Build a new cave / Move their natives / Extract natural resources / Offer sacrifices to the gods / Build a settlement / Tame wild animals / Liberate conquered territory / Exchange goods with other players.
3. End of Age Phase
Natives, animals, and conquerors multiply. Natives who are not fed or remain without shelter will die, which will anger the gods. Spoiled food will go to waste and accumulate in garbage, which will also anger the gods.
You will either appease the gods with sacrifices or anger them with your indifference. Then disasters predicted by the seer will occur. The level of anger of both gods will determine the severity of each disaster.
The game ends at the end of the 3rd age
In cooperative mode:
Players check if their common task has been completed. If so, the gods will be pleased, and all natives will win the game.
In competitive mode:
Solidarity points will be awarded to players who contributed more to the community, consumed fewer resources, or achieved collective and personal goals. The player with more points wins the game.

Thanks to the variable assembly of the archipelago, different goals, and disasters, each game will be unique.
Across the ages, the game board will change, so you must adapt your strategy.
The game is intended for 1-4 players aged 14 and up.
The rules are in Czech. The game material is language-independent.
