Každý hráč má k dispozici sedm ze sady deseti karet, z nichž každá má unikátní efekty. Tyto karty budou hráči postupně tajně vykládat do řady, a ve vhodné chvíli je pak mohou odhalit a vyhodnotit jejich efekt - a poté jej opakovaně vyhodnocovat až do konce hry. Na druhou stranu, neodhalené karty sbírají v každém kole body vlivu, a o vliv jde v Krvavém trůnu především.
