Ve hře Canvas hrajete za malíře, který se účastní umělecké soutěže. Hráči budou sbírat umělecké karty, vrstvit 3 z nich na sebe a vytvoří tak vlastní jedinečný obraz. Na každé kartě je část dílo a také sada ikon, které se používají při bodování. Ikony se odhalují nebo skrývají podle toho, jak se hráči rozhodnou karty vrstvit, což vytváří nervy drásající puzzle. Obrazy jsou bodovány na základě bodovacích karet, které se mění každou hru. Jakmile hráči vytvoří a obodují 3 obrazy, hra končí.
