The Imperial Star Destroyer is a symbol of the Empire's tyranny and the spearhead of its incredibly large naval forces. It first appeared in the opening scene of the movie Star Wars: A New Hope and embodies the vast scope and power of the Sith-led regime.

With a range of armaments, defensive systems, huge engine exhausts, and intricate surface details, LEGO has created a true collector's piece that will captivate the imagination of every Star Wars fan.

However, to truly transform this masterpiece into something to marvel at, Light My Bricks has created a lighting kit that will highlight the absolute power and might of this gigantic galactic starship. With 77 individual lights, this kit is not lacking in details!

Micro lights are used for the external guns to hide the wiring as best as possible. To ensure realistic gun blasts, engine operation (using our new pulse effect), and other system lights on board this massive space vessel, 4 different effect boards are used.

Lights have also been used on the separate Tantive ship and TIE fighter leaving the docking bay, creating a hyper-realistic Star Wars battle scene!
