This expansion set is intended for owners of the 1st edition of the game WAR OF THE RING and includes all the event and character cards that are part of the 2nd edition of the game WAR OF THE RING.
Together with the rules of the 2nd edition available for download from the Ares Games website, it will allow owners of the 1st edition (or collector's edition) to play the 2nd edition of the War of the Ring without having to buy a complete new game.
Two decks with 110 cards are supplied together with card protectors and in a sturdy metal tin with embossing, which protects them, and are adorned with full-color drawings by the renowned Tolkien artist John Howe.
