In the game Voices In My Head, players find themselves in a courtroom and in the mind of a man being tried for robbing a bank. One player takes on the role of the prosecutor, trying to convict and send Guy to prison; all others take on aspects of Guy's personality, such as Honesty or Selfishness, and try to influence the trial. In order for each player to win, they must achieve their hidden goal.
Each round, the prosecutor plays a process card to present evidence, call witnesses, or interrogate Guy on the defendant's bench. Players then try to control Guy's actions by placing control markers on a three-dimensional game board representing his brain. These actions will influence the jury in various ways and ultimately decide whether Guy will be acquitted or sent to prison.
