It is said that Wiraqocha created the sun and the pre-Columbian tribes in the Andes. Under his leadership, those who would train the powerful Inca nation emerged from their caves to discover new horizons, to sustain themselves and grow in harmony with nature. They worshipped Pachamama, Mother Earth, the foundation of all living things, plants and minerals, on the earth and underground.

In Tiwanaku, first announced as Pachamama, you lead your tribe into unknown territory and seek new lands for cultivation. Your goal: Explore the regions and outline the development of culture according to the customs and references of Pachamama. If you honor her by respecting the great principles of diversity and complementarity, nature will reward you, otherwise you will suffer her wrath. In this race, you should be able to pass through risky actions, deduction, intuition, and a good sense of timing.

Each scenario disc indicates a unique arrangement of terrain tiles and crop tiles. Terrain tiles are in areas of 1-5 fields and an area of one color does not touch an area of the same color, not even diagonally. Crop tiles have values of 1-5 and each value has a different size/color (level 1 is brown, level 2 is green, etc.). An area of size 1 will contain a crop tile of value 1, an area of size 2 will contain crop tiles of value 1 and 2, and only an area of size 5 will contain crop tiles of every value. Two crop tiles of the same value can never be adjacent, not even diagonally.

On your turn, perform either an exploration action or a divine action: At the end of an exploration or divine action, you can submit 1-5 offer dice for 0-10 points. You can only have one offer of each color in hand.

Once the last terrain tile is placed on the game board, the end of the game is triggered. Starting with this player, each player in turn can perform one divine action or pass. If you pass, you do not take any further actions. If you divine, you gain points and a sacrifice die as usual, or you lose points and must pass. Take turns around the table until everyone has passed, then make a final offer and determine who has the most points.
