A group of astronauts on a rescue mission lands on an abandoned planet to determine the fate of a long-lost scientific vessel. They have just over a day to investigate what happened, and they discover that the planet itself and the survivors they encounter hide terrible secrets that could threaten humanity.

Shadow Planet: The Board Game is a sci-fi game full of alien horror, inspired by the beautifully illustrated Italian graphic novel by the Blasteroid brothers and designed by Giacomo and Gianluca Santopietro, the creators responsible for the game Letters from Whitechapel. The game perfectly combines the idea of hidden identities with a completely revolutionary approach to the deck-building genre, offering a unique gaming experience and the opportunity to use a completely different strategy in each game.

Draw your secret goal and use six different characters to achieve it. Outsmart your opponents and control the course of the game through clever manipulation of various decks. Move around different locations on the planet to acquire powerful cards or use special abilities, but remember that your opponents will also benefit from them, as they may get the exact deck you are trying to manipulate. Play around the table, seek allies, and identify the alien threat before it proves too strong... unless you are the creature trying to leave the planet! Save humanity... or save yourself.
