The strategy game Tapestry follows the struggle of different civilizations for world domination. Yet it is not a civilization game in the true sense of the word. You will encounter elements of civilization games, but the experience will be quite different. In fact, Tapestry is a pretty classic Euro with a plethora of options and strategies.

Your unique civilisation will only give you a slight indication of the direction you should take, but as you progress through the ages and establish militarism, capitalism or perhaps a dictatorship, your options will change. In the game you explore parts of the world, conquer them, invent new technologies, build your own city from painted building pieces, race against others to reach milestones, take risks.
