Tainted Grail is a cooperative game for one to four players. It takes place in a dark world where Celtic myths and Arthurian legends mix, and where the art of surviving even the most boring day is crucial. Your characters are not heroes - they have long been dead. Each outcast who joins your party will receive a giant player board and two decks of cards, combat and diplomatic. Gradually, you will turn your scoundrel into a tough, cunning adventurer who is constantly learning new skills and working on their attributes. Don't expect dice, the main mechanism will be deck building and you will fight with cards by playing several at once and combining them into deadly combinations.
Locations are represented by cards, from which a map is created. Each location you explore tells its own stories and has its own secrets. Owls are simply not what they seem, and with continued exploration, you should learn new information or experience random encounters. Like in many modern "rpg like" board games, the game will adapt to your decisions, promising suspense and variability.
