You are a creator who emerged from the vault after millennia, carrying all the necessary ingredients to restore Gaia and its ecosystem to its original glory! Work together with the robot overseer and gain prestige as you restore the destroyed biomes of the land to their former beauty, repopulate old and new species, and bring life to the rejuvenated ecosystem. Collect rare resources such as nutrients and energy to grow faster, but keep in mind that new biomes also provide resources to your competing factions.
Shapers of Gaia features six Shapers, each with their own unique abilities, and during the game, you must use your unique abilities to rise to the top as you compete with others for resources and prestige. You earn prestige by organizing animals according to their established behavior, collecting DNA samples, and unlocking new abilities of the Shapers. Only the Shaper with the highest prestige at the end of the game will be able to permanently join the overseer as the guardian of the reborn Gaia.
