The cave is collapsing and your only hope is to find the exit. You discover that not all dwarves are loyal to your clan. The only thing left is to save the gold!

Saboteur: The Dark Cave is a standalone game that recreates the atmosphere of the Saboteur game. At the beginning of the game, each player is assigned to a clan, although they may potentially be a saboteur for another clan. You start from a card face down in the middle of the game and alternately lay tunnel cards, building them outward from the mine towards the four corner cards, of which only one is the exit. In addition to building new tunnels, you will play cards to allocate equipment, place monsters in front of others, determine who is actually in your clan, and reveal the exit before reaching it. Once you leave the mine, you reveal your true identity, with all the gold you have counting towards your clan's total. Once all clan members leave, the game ends and the clan with the most gold wins.
