Hirelings can be added to the game at any player count. In smaller player counts, hirelings add new figures to the map, increase tension, and give you more tactical options. In larger player counts, some hireling cards flip and reveal new special abilities that you can acquire, allowing you to explore unique and powerful strategies.
The hireling box can be used to store the hirelings.
This is an expansion. The board game Root is required to play.
