The sea wizard is preparing to sink the colony of magical pearls on the coast. He is looking for a pearl that will give him power. The dragon trainer sets out to search for an ancient dragon on Bloody Island.

The second expansion of the game Res Arcana is called Perlae Imperii (pearls of power). It introduces a new type of essence - pearls - and extends the game to 13 victory points.
New mages, a new magical item, monuments, power places, and artifacts are waiting for you.

The expansion can be played with the base game alone or in combination with the first expansion Lux et Tenebrae.
