The Oath game allows one to six players to take control of the fate of an ancient land. One player will assume the role of the Chancellor - a skillful manipulator ruling with an iron fist. The other players will either take on the roles of Citizens, who strive to become the Chancellor's successors through intrigue, or desperate Exiles who seek to overthrow the entire Empire.

•  More than 200 unique cards - each card features a unique, hand-drawn illustration by Kyle Ferrin, the acclaimed illustrator of the Root game.
•  More than 100 printed wooden components and 17 specially engraved dice. Each player receives a large wooden figure and a set of military units. You will roll more than a dozen specially engraved dice.
•  The base game includes a neoprene game mat and a thoughtful storage solution - you can easily set up and clean up thanks to card dividers, a quilted neoprene mat, and a practical plastic insert (with space for sleeved cards!).
