Many centuries ago, the Greek, Persian and Assyrian empires spread over vast territories and ruled with immeasurable wealth. Although their inhabitants enjoyed the security of mighty walls and formidable armies, fearful rumours began to spread. There were whispers of terrible enemies coming from the lands beyond the Black Sea. They came on horseback. Fierce warriors and warrior women. Masters of the sword, the axe and the bow. Despite their derogatory nicknames, they were not just mindless brutes. Their craftsmen were renowned goldsmiths. They could make light and durable leather armour. Hundreds of years ahead of their time, they invented the reflective bow. They domesticated eagles and taught them to hunt and fight. They're even said to be the originators of the Greek myths of the Amazons. But they were no mere legend or fairy tale. They were real. They were raiders from Scythia!

The goal of Raiders of Scythia is to have the most victory points at the end of the game for pillaging settlements, capturing loot and conducting expeditions. First, however, you need to assemble your raiding party, train your animals and prepare your provisions.

The game is designed for 1-4 players aged 12 and up.
