Zapadákov is the next in a series of gamebook comics called Comics in which you are the hero. As in the other volumes, your decisions will affect where the story goes, but in this Wild West book there's a superstructure to go along with it all, in which you build a town. Zapadákov is the most playful installment in the series so far.

The book Zapadákov is a comic gamebook, i.e. a comic combined with a game.
While reading/playing the gamebook, you experience a story with the main character in the book, the course of which depends on your decisions.

The book contains a character sheet where you record time, injuries, items earned, and ultimately victory points as you read. A brief way to describe the reading/playing of a comic book gamebook is to follow the individual pictures in the book. The pictures contain clues, puzzles and traps and you have to decide where and how to proceed. As you follow the pictures you collect clues, solve puzzles and decide how to proceed. As in any game, you can also lose and sometimes very quickly and cruelly.

The game is designed for 1 player aged 12 and over.
