In the game Hellboy: The Dice Game, you will embody the role of a B.P.R.D. recruit exploring a mysterious location. As a rookie, you have limited abilities and resources, so you will need your wit to try to survive. Take a chance and delve deeper into the unknown, or play it safe and live to see another day. The choice is yours!

The game consists of a deck of cards representing rooms that contain monsters, clues, and encounters, and a set of dice (the same type of dice used in the game Hellboy: The Board Game).

Players take turns trying to pass through rooms and gather clues before they are eliminated.

On your turn, you start with all the dice and draw a card. You choose which dice to roll (up to 3) to overcome challenges (such as monsters or dangers) and gain clues (victory points). Once you use a die, you cannot use it again in this turn to overcome other rooms. After overcoming a room, you can decide whether to pass and keep all the clues you have gained, or draw again. If you are defeated in the room, you lose all the clues you gained in this turn, and the game moves on to the next player.

The first player to acquire at least 15 clues triggers the end of the game. The other players have one more turn to try to get more clues. The player with the highest number of clues wins.
