Welcome to Hanamikoji, the most famous street of geishas in the old capital of Kyoto, Japan. Geishas are elegant and charming ladies skilled in arts, music, dance, various forms of performance, and rituals. Highly respected and admired, geishas are masters of entertainment.
In Hanamikoji, two players compete for the favor of seven famous geishas by collecting their favorite items. Will you be able to outwit your opponent with careful planning and bold moves, and thus win the favor of the majority of geishas?
In the game Hanamikoji, the goal is to win the favor of 4 geishas or at least 11 charm points. You take turns with your opponent in performing actions and strategically using item cards.
For each geisha, if you have more cards of the corresponding type than your opponent, you gain the favor of the geisha. For her favor, you will receive favor tokens and charm points.
