FULL THROTTLE! is another great game from Friedemann Friese, the author of Power Grid and Friday.

Crazy moped riders are ready to race with their souped-up mopeds! Since you know that neither courage nor health insurance allow you to participate in such a dangerous race, you and your friends choose a safer way to have fun and start betting on mopeds instead.

While the six mopeds go around the racetrack three times, trying to avoid getting stuck behind other mopeds or in choke points, you evaluate the situation lap by lap and bet on your favorite mopeds. Who will ultimately win, place, or show off?

In the game Full Throttle! no one controls the mopeds. Instead, they race around the track on "autopilot." In each round, reveal racing cards and move the mopeds along the track. Then draw racing cards that you will use as hidden bets. Undrafted cards will be reused for the next moped movement. Choose your bets carefully, as the chosen cards slow down the mopeds.

After three thrilling rounds around the racetrack, the race ends when the first three mopeds cross the finish line. Have you collected the best set of racing cards and will you win Full Throttle!?
