Craft dragons, smaller and magically gifted versions of their larger (and more destructive) cousins, are sought after by shop owners to delight customers with their fiery abilities. You are a flamekeeper who masters the art of conversing with dragons, placing them in their ideal homes, and using magic to lure them into producing marvelous items. Your reputation will grow as you help dragons and merchants, and the flamekeeper with the greatest reputation will be known as the Master of the Flamethrower.

In the game Flamecraft, 2-5 players take on the role of Flamekeepers who gather items, place dragons, and cast spells to enhance shops in the city. Dragons are specialized (bread, meat, iron, crystal, plants, and potions) and Flamekeepers know which shops are the best home for each of them. Visit a shop and acquire items and the favor of one of the dragons there. The acquired items can be used to enchant the shop, gaining you reputation and the favor of all the dragons in the shop. If you are lucky and attract popular dragons, you will have the opportunity to secure an even greater reputation.
