Escape from the Aliens in Outer Space is a strategic card game that takes place on a heavily damaged research ship in space. The onboard systems have failed and the ship has plunged into darkness. But what's even worse: a mysterious alien plague has crept on board and is turning the human crew into terrifying monsters! The remaining crew members desperately try to save their lives by escaping from the abandoned ship, but in the darkness, aliens lurk... craving human flesh.

The game is played on a hexagonal map representing the spaceship. Each player receives a map sheet and a pencil. Map sheets must be from the same zone, and each zone has its specific name. It starts from the first player and continues clockwise, with each player having to make a move in each turn. To do this, the player must write down the coordinates of the sector they are moving to on their map sheet. Every time players move to gray (dangerous) sectors, they must draw a card; these cards force players to either reveal their position to others or lie about it, depending on the card. Each card is kept secret from the other players.

The goal of the humans is to save themselves using escape hatches, while the goal of the aliens is to hunt down the humans. The identity and position of each player is kept secret; you will have to interpret the movements and behaviors of other players to figure out who and where they really are.
