I come from a people of storytellers. The stories of our elders speak of times when we were driven from our homes by frost, hunger, and relentless predators. In desperation, we decided to follow the migratory herds across the Beringian land bridge, far, to a new continent. It was a long and difficult journey. And now we stand here, as living proof that our fathers managed to survive. Our new home is covered in ice and snow, and yet we are proud victors. The land is harsh and unforgiving, but it is ours. We are a resilient people of eternal winter. Life in harsh conditions has toughened us and taught us much. Tribal scouts can find the best places for our villages among the ice and rocks. Hunters can track and catch even the largest game. A single mammoth can feed the settlement for weeks. Elders pass on their experiences from generation to generation. Without them, our legacy would forever dissolve among the elements. And with us, our art, our tools, our rituals evolve. Our greatest guide is the sky. When the sun swallows darkness, it heralds great changes. Thus comes the time of ceremonies, celebrations, and contests. Even now we stand on the threshold of a new age, and it is us, the leaders of this indomitable tribe, to whom all the people turn again...

Travel back to 10,000 years before our era and take the lead of nomadic tribes that shaped American history. From hunters and gatherers to flourishing tribal communities. During your travels, you will settle new territories, explore new discoveries, hunt game, and build megalithic structures that will last for ages.

Endless Winter: Paleoamericans is a strategic game that combines worker placement and deck building in new unique ways. Each round, you pay resources and cards for the activity you send members of your tribe to perform. Your people will provide you with a few extra skilled hands, while culture cards have a variety of effects. You can also keep cards and use them at the end of the round in the Eclipse Phase, where their effects are simultaneously revealed and determine the new player order and trigger further actions. The game also features other systems and mechanisms, such as multi-use cards, territorial battles, tile laying, and set collection. There are many ways to victory. After four quick rounds, the score is counted, and the tribe with the most points wins. 

The game is designed for 1-4 players aged 12 and up.
