Dune - just the name evokes a feeling of loneliness. Most of the planet's surface is covered by deserts, interrupted only by massive rocky ridges. Giant, quarter-mile-long worms live beneath the sand, attacking anyone who steps on the sand. Human life exists only in a few scattered places where precious water is found, but even these settlements are plagued by terrifying coriolis storms. And yet this planet is immensely important for the fate of the entire galactic Empire, because only on Dune is the spice harvested.

The spice is the key to interstellar travel and a geriatric drug that prolongs life.

In the game DUNE, you will take on one of the four powerful factions - the Atreides, the Harkonnens, the Fremen, and the Empire, as they all seek to control the most valuable resource in the universe, melange, the mysterious spice harvested at a high price on the planet Dune.

Move your units to Dune, collect spice, occupy desert fortresses, and destroy your enemies. Decide who will control DUNE!
