Detective: City of Angels se odehrává v temných a krutých zákoutích města Los Angeles v průběhu čtyřicátých letech 20. století.
V této pátrací hře pro 1-5 hráčů se ocitnete v kůži detektivů z oddělení vražd, kteří se v touze po slávě neštítí využít vyhrožování, skrývání důkazů a dokonce udávání svých kolegů, jen aby případ dotáhli ke zdárnému konci. Úkolem jednoho z hráčů bude vzít na sebe roli šejdíře, jehož jediným cílem je mařit vyšetřování ostatních, využívaje k tomu blafování, manipulací a často i prachsprostých lží. V krabici najdete jak složky případů pro detektivy, tak pokyny k roli šejdíře.
Každý případ je záhadou, která se může vyvinout mnoha způsoby. S tím, jak detektivové obrací město naruby a odhalují nové, ještě horké stopy, se odkrývají noví podezřelí a nové možnosti výslechu, díky kterým vás příběh chytí a nepustí až do samého konce!
