Cult of the Deep is a dice game with hidden roles for 4-8 players, where as a cultist you try to advance your faction to power. Fight for control of rituals and mythical monsters and strive for victory and cult domination!
A player takes their turn by first rolling the dice up to three times. Then they decide where to place their dice: into rituals to gain altar effects and temporarily strengthen themselves, complete a ritual to gain its powerful effects permanently, or stab other cultists, gaining or giving life to other cultists.
If a player is killed, they are not eliminated. Instead, they become a ghost. On their turn, they still roll dice, just fewer of them. They cannot place dice as normal, but instead haunt the dice of enemies and allies by redistributing, replacing, or discarding them.
