In the 1970s, the world's governments faced a huge demand for energy. And so many power stations were built. Every year, pollution slowly increased and nothing was done about it. Now the impact of pollution is too great. People have to look for other, greener ways of getting energy. If pollution is not stopped, we will all fail. CO2 is a play about a very topical issue - pollution of the natural environment. Players, as CEOs of energy corporations, are trying to meet government demands for new, greener power plants. The goal is to stop the increase in pollution while covering the increasing energy sales. And, of course, to be in profit. You need more resources, money and experience to be able to build such plants. The game includes both cooperative and solo modes.
