Basilica is a board game for two players, set in medieval Florence, offering intense player interaction and easily learnable rules.

In this game, players take on the roles of rival architects overseeing the construction of a grand cathedral. Each turn, they place stones to enlarge the cathedral and create areas of one color, while also placing builder pawns to gain advantages and control areas. Additionally, players carry out commands to move or remove builders, enhance abilities, block spaces, or demolish previously built parts of the cathedral. There are four colors of tiles in the game. The goal for players is to create the largest areas representing one color and have more pawns in these areas than their opponent.
