In Barony, players find themselves in the role of noblemen trying to colonize rich and fertile territories, defend them against enemy raids and, above all, strive to win the royal crown.

First, they compose a game plan that consists of several segments that are highly variable. Then players place their cities and knights on the plan. During the game, the player chooses from 6 different actions and can expand or develop their dominion, conquer new territories, or promote their noble title. The first player to gain the title of Duke will end the game, but this does not mean that he will receive the royal crown. That will go to the person who has the most victory points in the final tally, and only that person will be the winner of the game.

It's a very nice strategy game with good-looking graphics, and the clear rules are a big plus.

The game is designed for 2-4 players aged 14 and up.

The rules are in English. The game material is language independent.
