Autobahn is an economic strategic game about building the German highway system in three time periods from the end of World War II to the present day.

After the fall of the Iron Curtain, opportunities arise for further expansion of the network into the eastern part of the country.

As a director within the Bundesautobahn organization, you are responsible for managing and developing the German federal highway system.

In addition to road construction, you will also be responsible for facilitating the transport of goods to neighboring countries and building gas stations that will benefit from this new transportation.

By participating in the network development, you will earn seats on the boards of directors of individual highways, which will increase your budget at the beginning of each period.

Throughout the game, your board members will eventually advance to more prestigious positions in the Bundesautobahn building, which will in turn secure victory points at the end of the game.

Plan ahead to optimize your efficiency. Each of your decisions builds your reputation and gains access to new departments and scoring opportunities that better align with your chosen path to victory.

The cards in your hand allow you to take actions on one of the seven main highways.
To make the most of your actions before you can take the cards back, you must carefully plan and time them perfectly.
