Companions is an expansion for the game Asking for Trobils.

The universe is lonely, but when a lost colonial ship Friend appeared on the edge of the star system, everyone was excited. And what's more, the ship Friend contains a new resource, Shards, which provide another way to acquire Trobils!

The inhabitants of this ship are looking forward to exploring the galaxy with you. If you let them join you, despite their silly quirks, they will give you these Shards that will help you rid the galaxy of Trobils.

Companion cards are randomly paired with a Shard card and placed on a new player board that includes a dial. The dial helps players show where to place the Shards and points to the active quirk of the Companion.

You will acquire these pairs of cards by visiting the location of the friendly ship. Shards are valuable, so players will devise a strategy to best navigate the Quirks of their Companion to acquire as many Shards as possible without disrupting the efficiency of their Trobil hunting.
