It is the beginning of the 19th century, the age of science, superstition, and witchcraft. When the full moon rises over the small remote village of Shadowbrook, the night is filled with howling. Horrific murders are a daily occurrence and terror reigns in the streets at night. An evil being has taken up residence here and darkness has engulfed the land.
But all is not lost... not yet.
A small group of heroic individuals has arrived in town, who have the courage and strength to fight. Some are just passing through, others have come with a specific purpose; but all will be tested as they strive to save this cursed town from falling into darkness. It will take cunning minds and spiritual strength to determine who is friend and who is foe... to solve mysteries and track the beast to its lair. However, the secrets of Shadowbrook run deep. Gossip and rumors spread, and these few Heroes may soon find that they are outsiders and that this town is already so rotten from within that there is not much left to save.
