In the game 51st State, the world you know no longer exists. There is no government. No army. No civilization. The United States has collapsed - and now, thirty years after the start of the war, new forces are finally trying to take control of the devastated land, trying to establish a new order, trying to dominate others and create a new country, a new state: the 51st state!

In this card game, players control one of four factions - mutants, traders, New Yorkers, and Appalachians - and try to build their own new state. Players found new locations, hire leaders, and send people to work in buildings to gain resources and new skills.

Each card in the game 51st State can be played in three ways. You can either attack the location and gain a one-time resource, or you can make a deal with it and get one resource each turn, or you can attach the location to your state to use its skills. One card, three options. Lots of decisions and choices that matter!
