Barrage is focused on resource management and strategic placement. Players compete to build their dams, upgrade them to increase water storage capacity, and provide all the power through pressure tunnels connected to power turbines. Each player represents an international company that acquires new machines, innovative patents, and engineers. The main idea of the game is the competition for the best locations to capture and utilize the water power of rivers in the Alpine region.
